Activities and events
Welcome to DG Real Estate’s activities and events page, where we will be chronicling our past, present, and future social events, get-togethers, and activities. Through our fun gatherings, we hope to bring foreigners in Kansai together as well as build a stronger connection with the foreign community with whom we work.
We’d love to see you at our next event, so be sure to keep up with us through this page and our Facebook page for the latest information!
4th Event: Customer Appreciation Event
Our 4th networking event was held at Absinthe Wormwood on Dec 18, 2016 (Sunday). All you can eat and drink for 2 hours! What a feast!
A Daiwa Homes special documentary video was shown to our guests, followed by an Ideal Room Photo Contest. The party ended after an awesome dance performance by 2 cute little guests.
Some headed out for karaoke until the last train. We all had a great time!
3rd Event: Paintballing in Kyoto
Our 3rd networking event, this time we gathered at Kyoto Station on July 3rd, 2016. Together we took a train to Kameoka City, and from there we headed to Esperio Kyoto Sports Garden to gear up and battle it out with paintballs!
We all shared a round of drinks afterwards, and some even headed out for dinner and karaoke in the evening. Everyone had an awesome time and we hope we can get together again soon for another fun day.
2nd Event: Wakeboarding and Barbecuing in Hyogo
On September 13, 2015, we gathered at Lotus Surf Ashiya at Nishonomiya Marina for an afternoon of wakeboarding and water fun, followed by a delicious barbecue, drinks, and an evening relaxing in the rooftop Jacuzzi.
It was tough going for the first-timers, but many were successfully able to stand!
After all of that physical exertion, everyone had worked up quite an appetite! There were even shiitake mushroom burgers for the vegetarians.
1st Event: Boozin’ and Cruisin’ in Osaka
On July 18, 2015, we boarded the Ship of Fools, captained by Ryuji-san, and headed out for an evening of live music, cold drinks, good company, and to enjoy the sights and sounds of Osaka from the many rivers that run through the city.
We set off from Nakanoshima, and worked our way through Dojimagawa, Kizugawa, Dotonborigawa, and Higashiyodoborigawa. We even passed through Doutonbori, saw the famous Glico running man, and had pizza delivered right to our boat! It was a hot summer’s night, but cruising along the cool waters with the nice breezes was a refreshing change. (Of course, the ice cold beverages helped too!)
